At Genius Kids Early Childhood Educational Center, we hire educators that reflect our philosophy and share our common values. We value our staff greatly and see them as integral to our culture.

Our educators value and incorporate Te Reo and Tikanga Maori into the daily routines and endeavour to ensure the Centre philosophy and programme reflects the current theories of learning and development. This is achieved by engaging in professional development and ongoing review that draws on evidence from studies to validate our practices as a team.

We believe in spending the time to know each child, their interests and learning styles so that our educators can facilitate experiences that are both stimulating and challenging. As a team we work collaboratively to respond to children’s ideas and use intentional teaching to scaffold and extend learning. We work as a partner with each child to continue their own learning and engage in reflective practice to provide quality teaching.

Through partnerships with the schools in our community, we extend the ability and confidence of the children in our care to transition to school and document their individual learning journey.
